I am making cross-section images of junctions in Budapest showing the complex system of the surface and the parts reaching deep below. I display them isolated from their original context, based on their real-life structure yet using fictional layouts and ratios. My choice of tool is digital slit-scan photography which enables me to examine and show the movement of the mass of people and vehicles as information flowing in time and space through this artificially created point of view thanks to this technique's unique approach to physical dimensions.
