There is a ceaseless struggle between the photographer and the imaging device for control over certain aspects of how the image is produced. What is common in the different experimental works featured in this project is that they explore the outer reaches of photography as they look into the relationship and blurring boundaries of the above mentioned two agents. What this practically means is examining exaggerated situations in which the given device has some very specific, predetermined purpose of function, which is an obtrusive constraint on certain variables of the imaging process, or leaves its imprint on the image. I study, appropriate or break these situations throughout this collection of experimental works.
